Dr. Ann-Marie Neale is a faculty member, education coordinator, and board secretary at the Viktor Frankl Institute of Logotherapy. She earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Michigan State University.  Reading Man’s Search for Meaning has had a profound impact on Dr. Neale’s life as she resonates with Dr. Viktor Frankl’s message of hope through moment by moment meaning discovery and self-transcendence. After earning her Diplomate in Logotherapy in 2009, Dr Neale began teaching courses at the Viktor Frankl Institute of Logotherapy. In 2017, she was honored with The Rosemary Henrion Memorial Award for Excellence in Educational Leadership. In 2019, Dr. Neale received The Statue of Responsibility Award “in grateful recognition of devoted leadership in promoting internationally the work of Viktor E. Frankl, MD, PhD”.  She is an Accredited Member of The International Association of Logotherapy and Existential Analysis, Vienna.  Dr. Neale is the Karen Horney Professor of Counseling and Psychology at The Graduate Theological Foundation where she supervises doctoral theses and offers psychology courses such as Viktor Frankl’s Logotherapy, disaster mental health, and psychology of religion.  She was a disaster mental health specialist with the American Red Cross for over 10 years.  Dr. Neale is a member of a forensic neuropsychology team which helps determine the presence of neurodevelopmental or neurocognitive brain damage for US defense attorneys.  Recently Dr. Neale was appointed an international advisor to the Journal of Logotherapy Studies at the Krakow Institute of Logotherapy in Poland. She feels blessed to have Logotherapy colleagues, students, and friends from all over the globe.  Dr.  Neale embraces this message by Viktor Frankl: “Life has meaning to the last breath.”
