Dr.Willem Maas led the 18th. Logo-Chat: Some remarks about the Nominal Socratic Dialogue

Dr. Willem Maas, with the invaluable support of Pieter Hoekstra, led the 18th Logo-Chat on “Some Remarks on the Nominal Socratic Dialogue as an Existential-Analytical Tool for (Short-Term) Logotherapy.”

In this session, he introduced the Nominal Socratic Dialogue as a distinctive form of dialogue within Logotherapy. Focusing on attitudinal value, this approach seeks to reawaken the human capacity for self-transcendence and to illuminate the existential choice between ego and Self.

Rather than offering ready-made answers, it reflects Logotherapy’s sober and respectful way of helping persons respond to life with greater responsibility and meaning.
