The Imperative of Finding Meaning and Purpose in a Troubled World.
The Viktor Frankl Institute of Logotherapy’s (VFIL), whose mission is to promote optimal human health through meaningful living, announces the Twenty-Third World Congress, to be held virtually October 21-23, 2021. The Congress provides an extraordinary opportunity to discuss with a global audience aspects of Logotherapy founded by Frankl and expanded by contemporary scholars at this time of a world in need of hope and renewal. Author of Man’s Search for Meaning, Frankl conceptualized humans in three dimensions of body, mind, and spirit with the belief that the primary motivating force of human beings is the search for meaning and purpose in life.
Logotherapy helps individuals to self-transcend by using the triumphant power of the human spirit in facing suffering, conflict, tragedy, pain, loss, grief, uncertainty, and inner emptiness. Frankl’s vision for humanity includes hope, as well as personal and societal growth for a rich, vibrant life. We hope you will join us for the World Congress.
